I love, love, love hummus. Most of the store bought versions are full of oil, and questionable oils at that. It’s so easy to make healthy, no oil, hummus. You could even leave out the tahini if you really want to cut the fat, although the texture will be different, but still tasty. I’ve made it that way many times as well.

Yet Another Hummus Recipe
Making hummus is so inexpensive, I have no idea why people buy it in the store.
Equipment
- Pressure cooker
- Food Processor
Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic
- 4 cups Garbanzo Beans
- ½ cup aquafaba see notes
- ½ cup tahini
- 1 juice of lemon or more if you like it
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp ground paprika
- ½ tsp salt or to taste
Instructions
- Drop garlic in food processor and chop fine.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and process until smooth.
- That’s it. Enjoy!
Notes
I use my food processor for this, but it can also be made in a vitamix etc.
